Colorado warns consumers about marijuana vape devices containing methylene chloride

Colorado officials have issued a health and safety advisory for specific marijuana vape devices made by Staycon LLC, which does business as craft. The advisory says the affected batches include an ingredient containing methylene chloride and were sold at about 405 stores between March 27 and September 25.

The Colorado Department of Revenue and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment identified the devices as a public health and safety threat. The advisory covers listed batches of regulated marijuana vaporizer delivery devices produced using an ingredient containing methylene chloride.

Officials advise people who have one of the listed batches to destroy it or return it to the place of purchase. They also say people should report any adverse health effects to a professional.
